A very local Boardwalk Empire

We’ve had some excitement in our street this week with Boardwalk Empire coming back to do some filming.

It is always so much fun to get off the bus on my way home and see the colored pieces of paper all over the lamp posts –

On Monday morning I stepped out the front door and the cast trailer and other trailers were already in position –

When we got home from work they were filming in the church on the corner –

When we were walking past some of the crew I heard one of them say “Man I could really do with some pizza…” To which I couldn’t help myself but blurt out way too quickly “Hey-I-heard-you-wanted-pizza? The-best-pizza-in-Brooklyn-and-New-York-is-one-block-up-and-a-few-blocks-along!” I spoke so fast, Bill had to translate it into normal speak for them but nevertheless, we hope they took our recommendation.

Lots of cables –

Ohhh a special trailer door –

On the cast trailer the doors had the character names of a Bishop and a Priest so next season when you see these characters, you’ll know where they were filming!
