I am home sick today.

For the past week and a bit I haven’t been feeling quite right. Everyone at work has been sick and with the sudden change in the weather, it is understandable. I got home last night and my throat was dry and by bedtime I couldn’t swallow. Ugh! Hopefully this will be it for the season. Thinking back, it was actually exactly this time last year that I got sick as well and it started much the same.

Feeling miserable has had a bright side though. Today, Garth Brooks has announced he is coming out of retirement. Life could just about be complete!
