Jenelle’s Groovychick Environment has had a home on the internet since 1996. Created in Notepad with lots of animated gifs and starry background pages, I remember emailing Yahoo! to get it listed in their People category.. and they did. The internet has changed so much and so much of it annoys me now but.. I’m still here.
I was born and raised in Melbourne and I moved to London to work in 1999. An around the world plane ticket started my travel obsession. I first visited New York in 1999 and loved the United States since that first day. After many years of trying, I won a Green Card and moved to New York in 2008. I hit it off with an amazing guy called Bill and we got married in 2010. In 2013, I became a US Citizen. Thus, becoming a dual citizen of Australia and the United States.
Some random things about me –
Bill and I struggle to take ‘serious’ photos.
We have two sons, Francis and Benedict, who keep us on our toes and somehow they put up with us too –
And a daughter, Josephine Martha, who is a saint in heaven –
I have always loved Vegemite and I still eat it out of the jar.
I have always loved reading. That is why I became a Librarian… and yet I ended up not being ‘that kind’ of Librarian.
Check out my Library Monitor badge. You can see, I take libraries very seriously! 😉
I hereby declare that I am a Collingwood supporter. So is Bill. So is Francis. So is Benedict. Like they had a choice!
I love my family so so so so so so much.
I have wonderful girlfriends!
I cannot live without these –
Going through some photos to put on this page I just realized that I will never understand the appeal of rocks on beaches. Regardless of how this photo on the Côte d’Azur looks.
