Yesterday I headed out in minus 5000 degree weather for Georgina’s baby shower.
With a huge bowl of fruit salad in hand it would have been frozen had I walked there! We all had a lovely lunch as Jen made an awesome vegetarian strata. It was the best kind of meal for a pot luck-style luncheon – heaps of sauteed vegies, eggs and crusty bread topping!
As a surprise for Georgina, John’s mum came down from Canada for the party. Also, Emily flew in from Chicago. It was great to meet her – I love reading her blog and it was funny meeting someone that doesn’t know you but you know about them! Before too long we were all oohhhhing and ahhhhing over all the presents. Here we all are here –
A little American tradition is to create a hat out of all the ribbons from the presents… Berry is so creative and managed to make this out of the ribbons –
In organizing the shower, Jen was super creative and I love things that have a little imagination to them! Instead of crazy games, she bought out a whole lot of plain bibs and a whole lot of puff paints and we all went to town, creating a little souvenir for Georgina to keep.
Can you guess what one was mine?
All of the other photos that Jen took are here. Her Canon camera is awesome – you can tell by how good the shots are! Also – Georgina’s full wrap up is here. đŸ™‚ All up – super afternoon!
