One big group Awwwwww!!! please. Bill and I have started creating little traditions together. Now these are not necessarily romantic or cute… our Monday night tradition usually involves bad smells, excess garbage and rotting food.
Our little tradition is watching Hoarders together.
We have not missed an episode yet – this show is one I love and yet find completely frustrating at the same time.
My dream job is to be a professional organizer – I love every aspect of it. I would watch the Canadian show Neat over and over again and on Monday night Hoarders takes us on a journey into the life of extreme hoarding.
As a show, Neat would come into a home and help the owners sort and purge and then decorate and everything would be pretty. Hoarders delves into the psychological aspects of hoarding and it is compulsive viewing.
The only problem is I find myself filled with anger and frustration in the end. These cases are hardly ever successful. I would go so far as to say that hoarding is a harder addiction to beat than any drug addiction by watching what happens on this show. It is extremely sad but fascinating at the same time.
So tonight, we had our leftover roast beef and vegies from the beautiful feast that Bill made last night and here I am all showered and ready for bed and waiting to watch Hoarders.
That is our Monday night without fail. I love it!
