Forget about Grimaldi’s (where I have never eaten – I hate queueing!) we seriously have one of the BEST pizza places ever right around the corner from us. If you don’t believe me, check out Yelp. Luigi’s is the bomb. I love John’s of Bleecker but in my opinion, Luigi’s is better.
It wasn’t until after we signed the lease for here that we heard about Luigi’s. Extra bonus points! As my birthday was on moving day and it was also a Friday in the middle of Lent, we got a plain pizza for lunch and ate it on a packing box. It was YUM and this is how it looked –
Tonight we decided on pizza for dinner… what a splurge week eating out twice this week! Bill bought home THE BEST PIZZA EVER. We got bacon and extra cheese and yes, it was as good as it sounds. We’ve decided this will be our regular topping. Luigi’s do bacon on pizza PERFECTLY.
To make it even better, there was Kosher Coke left in the fridge in the bodega from Passover… so Bill got a huge bottle. Mmmmm! Pizza and coke, in my jammies at 6.30pm on a Friday night and as an extra special treat, we ate it in the lounge room on our little tables, having a full on veg out. THIS IS THE LIFE!!!!!!
