One of the best stores IN THE WORLD is the Container Store. I could live there. It is simply – THE BEST! When we lived in Chelsea, I was spoiled by having one just on 6th Avenue… but moving has not stopped me one bit!
The best thing about shopping there is that you actually don’t have to shop there at all – they have the best services called ‘Click and Pickup’. I simply add everything into my shopping cart as if I was going to do a normal internet order and instead of checking out with a shipping charge, I select to pick it up at 6th Avenue. The most impressive thing about the Container Store is their inventory management is one of the best.
For example, I love their Tribeca range – at the moment the large bin is out of stock at the store – you see this straight away.
With Click and Pickup, you can pick it up that afternoon or next week – they do everything for you. This is especially good because you can properly plan your purchase and see what is in stock before wasting time going to the store and what you want isn’t there. Also, for people like me who could spend hours there it actually saves over spending and buying unnecessary products. A total win!
Now that we have settled into the apartment there were some more little organizing projects that needed to be attended to. So I dragged Bill to the Container Store on Friday night for a pickup as I wanted to especially try the Space Bags Under Bed storage system. They are so fantastic and perfect for our needs, so we went back today to pick up some more. I have always had great luck with the Travel Space Bags but this range goes above and beyond with a proper storage tote to slide under the bed/into the closet easily.

When you pick up your click and pickup order, you simply go to this counter that is just inside the door –
And then the salesperson goes to get your order and brings it straight to you. The receipt and everything is in the bag, you just have to sign for it –
