Next Thursday is the American Heart Association’s 2010 Start! Wall Street Run and Heart Walk.
Bill is a great supporter of this cause and this will be his third year both as a participant and major fundraiser – he has raised over $11,000 for the AHA over this time. I have the honor of being able to join him as his other team member as we tread the streets of downtown Manhattan for this great cause.
Bill is a Red Cap survivor having being born with the heart defect Tetralogy of Fallot. He is a living testimony of the work that raising money for heart research can do. If it wasn’t for this research, the chance of Bill having survived for this long would be 1 in 20.
Wherever you are in the world, any donation you make will go towards this fantastic cause. Nearly every person has been touched by heart disease in some way and you can help change that kind of statistic in the future by donating through this secure website.
I’ll be sure to report in next week about how the walk went with some photos along the way.
