Sleep deprivation season is back. Waking up at 4am on a Friday morning, staying up until 3am on Saturday morning, streaming radio, trying to find a streaming tv feed, text message craziness and screaming at the laptop in the dark… footy is back!
Being an all-Collingwood household is awesome and Bill has developed a great (and one eyed) understanding of the game. In fact, he suggested we get an international footy tipping competition happening with friends here and friends in Australia. So now there are the basically two groups in the competition – those that take it TOO seriously and those that pick the teams by the colors/names/mascots. It should be a blast as I’ve missed tipping each week! Fun fact – here, tipping is called pick ’em… don’t you just love cross cultural oddities?
