The Rings

Posted on April 2, 2011April 3, 2011 by Jenelle

Our rings were simple – Bill wanted something not gold. I wanted something gold and traditional and I fell in love with the Milgrain design when I first saw it.

I had my heart set on one from Tiffany but then I found the exact same ring at an online store and seeing as I wasn’t working at the time, I didn’t feel it was right to purchase an expensive band. Not only that, both times I went to Tiffany they were not helpful at all.. and it was a madhouse. It is fine to shop in that environment when you are buying a random necklace but when it came to the wedding bands they really weren’t interested at all it seemed.

It was one of the best decisions ever and as I wore my Claddagh ring as my engagement ring, on my ring finger I now just wear this as a single band and I love how that looks. Before our purchase they sent us special sizing templates and were great with all of my questions and they were sent via courier within a couple of days. The best thing? If we didn’t like them or we found they weren’t as comfortable as they should be to wear, we could return them – no questions asked. Even if they were engraved. We did get them both engraved with the same personal message each. What was the message? That is for us to know and for you to find out!
