I am never destined to leave LA.
Crazy stuff happening. After I left that board room lounge I actually thought it was 12.30. It was only 11.30. I was telling people at the gate that the plane is obviously so late because it wasn’t even at the gate, telling them we were at the wrong gate… when I was operating on totally different time. Very embarrassing!
While I was at the gate, I heard “Jenelle!” It was Anthony – another study tour participant and he was getting the same flight. Awesome!!!
Anyway we grabbed a bite to eat and caught up on his travel dramas (he really needs to have a blog!) and we finally boarded 1/2 an hour late and was in the air by 1.50. 15 or so minutes into the flight the Captain comes over the PA system. Unfortunately the cabin pressure is failing. Um. Yep. Exactly.
We have had to turn around and land back at LAX. Currently I am blogging this using the T-Mobile wireless internet (best investment EVER) whilst sitting in seat 7F! 🙂 🙂 We are at the gate and apparently this should be able to be fixed. Lets hope so because later tonight storms are coming into LA so that will no doubt affect flights as well. All I want is a bed and a shower. So far, 27 hours and 30 minutes sleep.
