Today is probably the only day in my whole life where I will be *this close* to the President.
He is landing in town later this morning to visit the World Trade Center site. For all of his previous visits the traffic chaos that ensues when he is in town has never affected me. However, this morning I was able to see first hand what a visit to such a public, outdoor area means. Barricades, police everywhere and… almost a sense of order!
For the past couple of days there have been an excess of news vans, reporters and police in this area. This morning there were also sniffer dogs in our building.
Here is where he will be later on… news crews already set up.
