Well yes folks it is time for my yearly post about the happenings of life at LAX.
I am writing this to you from Terminal 3 – just slightly an improvement on the horrific experience of the homeless shelter aka Alaskan Airlines Terminal 2 but not enough to get excited about.
I am sitting in a Burger King that has no burgers, the cafe next door has no seats, and the bakery behind me has no fresh bread.
Oh yes and reader did I tell you… I have 2.5 glorious fun filled hours to spend in this cesspool!
In case you hadn’t guessed I hate LAX. It is all very well if you don’t need to change terminals but otherwise – you would have a better time on Connex in peak hour.
In other news- GOD BLESS AMERICAN AIRLINES!
Not for the inflight food for purchase (you will see of picture of that when I get to Hawaii) but for… screening 7th Heaven. Oh if I could have done cartwheels down the aisle I would have! To say I was excited was a bit of an understatement and seeing 7th Heaven on the big screen – definitely one of my all-time in flight highlights.
Star spotting wise – I saw Joan Rivers at the AA Terminal at JFK and then I hopped on the flight, entered business class (to pass through business class) and spied Alec Baldwin. Yay!
I have a stack of posts to update that I didn’t get finished because unlike the ‘I-am-important-because-I-wear-heels-when-I-fly’ woman in 24G, I actually turn my laptop OFF when the cabin crew say.
Can you tell I’m hungry? I’ve resorted to 15 day old chicken tenders from Burger King and cold fries to calm my tummy rumbles. Travel bliss!
