Today is the Feast of St Ignatius. This morning at Mass, Father Joe started his homily with a quote from the former Superior General of the Jesuits, Pedro Arrupe, SJ.
While this quote was originally meant to be in relation to loving God, as Father Joe said, it can be reflective of loving any one, or the passion you may show towards an interest. It is beautiful and I just had to share it.
What you are in love with,
what seizes your imagination,
will affect everything.
It will decide what will get you
out of bed in the morning,
what you will do with your evenings,
how you will spend your weekends
what you read, who you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you
with joy and gratitude.
Fall in love, stay in love,
and it will decide everything.
