Random great things about NY

Junk mail!

When I first moved here, I encountered these strange bags of rubbish on the front stoop and just thought someone had dumped them there, so didn’t pay much attention.

It was only the next week that I realised what they were, when another batch of the rubbish was dumped on the stoop.

This is how junk mail is delivered!

I was SO excited. I grabbed my goody bag and ran upstairs… check out what is inside!

A whole COLLECTION of junk mail!

I get these once per week. It is a great idea as it means you don’t get junk mail *all* the time, they don’t fly all over the street as loose pieces of paper and they are protected from the rain. It also means all your junk mail can be stored in a small bag and when the next one comes, this can go into the recycling.

While there is still junk mail, this seems like a good way to make it useful.
