Midtown Manhattan is a mess at the moment due to the security procedures in place for the UN General Assembly.
As I walked past the Waldorf, I actually felt like I had snuck in somewhere I really shouldn’t have been – lots of ‘official looking’ people were milling out of the front and black cars with flags and country names in the window were everywhere.
