As I was walking home this afternoon, I dropped into the Duane Reade which is located at the top of my street. As I walked out of the store, a fire engine roared past me and turned quickly around the corner.
I looked up and the apartment next to Duane Reade was on fire. I took video footage and will post that soon. In the meantime, on this photo you can see some of the smoke coming out of the window.
