I have been laughing my head off at Georgina’s latest posts – here and here.
It reminded me of my last day working at Parliament earlier this year. I think I was the only 30 year old who still took fairy bread to work for her lunch on a regular basis. My wonderful colleague Victoria, in an attempt to make my morning tea as ‘Jenelle-ish’ as possible, bought in loaves of white bread and hundreds and thousands so we could have fairy bread at morning tea.
Here is photographic proof – Fairy Bread on an official Parliament of Victoria plate! (I think that in itself would have been a first!)
Anyway – I think this is now a request to mum to send over some Hundreds and Thousands and Georgina… I think this could be the next market stall on Union Square.
Important to note –
It must be made with the FRESHEST white bread you can get
Margarine RIGHT to the corners
And then cut into triangles
When I would take it to work – the crusts would also be cut off. 🙂
Oh yum yum yum.
